Williams in 2019 without Martini

The Williams team loses title sponsor Martini after this season. The overarching Bacardi Group has decided to shut down the sponsoring activities in Formula 1.

The report made by Motorsport.com, where deputy team principal Claire Williams confirmed that the sponsorship agreement expires at the end of this year will not be renewed. "We talked about renewing the sponsorship agreement, Martini and Williams were both interested in this, but the Bacardi Group has informed us that after the end of the contract, they will stop being a sponsoring Formula 1 by the end of 2018."

Martini has been the title sponsor of Williams since 2014, who lost Randstad and Avanade last winter as a sponsor. On the other hand, the team captured the Russian driver Sergej Sirotkin, who takes money with the SMP Racing program. His teammate Lance Stroll is supported by father Lawrence Stroll, the Canadian billionaire. Williams agreed with the Acronis, an data storage company on a sponsoring deal for 2018.
