Today my niece's first tooth broke and she was looking so happy by showing her tooth to everyone and kept saying that tomorrow I will get a gift from a fairy.

She reminded me my childhood, In my childhood We listened so many stories from our parents and believe them. Before listening the stories, we did not sleep. The stories of Superheroes, some of Kings and Queens and the most likely war stories of fairy, and my favorite is tooth fairy as i got real gift on my first tooth break-up.

We believed that these fairies live so far away in a beautiful land. There are many traditions on first tooth break-up in the world. Like this few European countries have some traditions for first tooth. In North Europe there is a tradition of "tooth fee" according to that when the first tooth breaks then they get prize. whether in England for the better future the parents put the tooth in fire. But as the time passes on, the values has also changed, then stories of Tooth Fairy came up. It was said that when the first tooth of a child broke up then they put that under their pillow at night. Then a beautiful fairy come up & took away the tooth and left there some gifts or money.

It is being believed that like Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy is also real who comes and give gifts to children.
