The charges stem from the death of his girlfriend's baby who was left in his care. When she returned home, Hernandez immediately left claiming he had errands to do, some time later, the girlfriend went to wake her child who was unresponsive. The two photos she had of him were gone and he's been on the lam ever since. He was last seen abruptly left their Santa Ana home and has not returned.
