The great Badshahi mosque is situated in Lahore,Pakistan. It was completed by sixth Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Between 1671 and 1673 is the era in which it was constructed.

It has become a attraction for tourists but as well as it is also listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. It has area of 276,000 square feet as courtyard. Thousands worshippers can be lived in the mosque for praying .It has 3 domes and 8 major minars(towers).

It was the largest mosque in the world upon construction. It is the second largest mosque in Pakistan after Shah Faisal Mosque. It is the most famous mughal structure in the world.

The beauty of this mosque is very enhanced because it is constructed with the red stone.The walls and floor was built with burnt bricks. It is considered as Great heritage and culture of Lahore.
