In order to maintain and increase the value of LOTUS for its stakeholders, the Natural Medicine community will regularly burn LOTUS on a monthly basis. This is done by tallying the various amounts, and issuing the total amount to @null by the issuing account @lotuscoin.

The amount to be burned is derived from the following sources:

• Post promotion on naturalmedicine.io
• Contests and competitions
• Other miscellaneous reasons
