Fall Colors & First Frost

Went up north for another weekend in the adirondacks. The leaf peepers were out in force with most of the trailheads being packed well beyond capacity. My brother knew some trails off the beaten path around giant mountain that were not busy.

Prior to leaving for the weekend, we had our first frost down here. There was an overnight low of 30 degrees F resulting in frost all over the inside and outside of the van. Although I was warm enough in my sleeping bag, I can't say I want to sleep in those conditions on a regular basis.
