Who’s delegated?

There’s always two sides to a delegation: someone receives the Steem Power that another one gives. Last post was about the receiving parties (https://busy.org/@verodato/who-s-receiving-delegations-colored). Now to the ones that lend/give Steem Power.

Here we can see the top 30 accounts that make up 74% of all Steem Power given/lent in delegation. I don’t know how to classify these accounts in categories like the ones used in the last post (https://busy.org/@verodato/who-s-receiving-delegations-colored). Any ideas? Would it be that the supply side of the delegation market has not specialized as fast as the demand side?

Check the R code below if you want to know how the query was built and how to calculate the proportion between what the top 30 accounts and the total delegation.

sqltxt <- paste("SELECT TOP 30 name, sum(cast(replace((delegated_vesting_shares),' VESTS','') AS DECIMAL(20,6))) AS 'dvs' FROM Accounts GROUP BY name ORDER BY dvs DESC",sep="")
top_dvs <- data.table(dbGetQuery(conn, sqltxt))
top_dvs[,sum(dvs)]/total_dvs
