Hello, Steemit Community!

I'm Vincent, and it's great to be a part of this relatively new community. I discovered Steemit through one of Jerry Banfield's classes on Stackskills. Learning to get used to this new platform will probably take me a bit of time, but I'm happy to try something new, and I'm glad to have found a social media platform that's also tied to a cryptocurrency. I've long felt that other social media places like Facebook were kind of a waste of time, so an alternative like Steemit feels like a breath of fresh air.

I am currently a freelance musician and music teacher, I play and teach violin, viola, piano and bass guitar. I'm also going back to school to earn a Bachelor's in Business Management from WGU, completely online.

As for what I'll be posting here on Steemit, perhaps some soundtrack reviews, audio gear reviews (I am quite a nerd when it comes to things like headphones), and I'd also like to promote a couple of other cryptos, Curecoin and Foldingcoin, which I really believe in and see great things for in the future. The best thing about them is that the way they're earned is a bit different from other cryptos, including Steemit, so their success is not in conflict with this platform and I think I can do a reasonably good job showing people how to earn them through Stanford's Folding@Home app, passively while you actively do other things.

Anyway, thanks again to Jerry for teaching me about the platform, and I look forward to making a bunch of friends, and eventually I hope to make a positive impact for the community.
