Listen mehn ma heart is broken 💔, came from a long generation of Secular hip hop but I always had a heart for God. So even while I was out there, loved contents that will still somehow whisper to me about God. & So I grew up listening to Pac shout out 2 ma big brother Gideon Bakam (dude had all of his albums); but I discovered DMX bcos after Pac died we (The Culture) needed some1 to fill up his shoes 👟 & X came and did just that plus he didn't loose himself in the process. He became 1 of the greatest performers on stage Hiphop had ever seen! With his baritone voice that always reminded me of my late cousin "Don Kalo"... X had alot of ups & downs in his personal life but I want to take this time out to say, these guys in the picture 🖼️ kept it real for the culture the best way they could; & a long time ago, I said to myself, if secular heads can stay true to what they Believe in this much to the point of putting their lives on the line for it, how much more me a Gospel MC... With a heavy heart I say RIP "DMX" I pray u made it right with Jesus before u left finally! Rest on Warrior. 🥂
