3D Practice - Toy Helicopter
The completed project.
Using assemblies in SolidWorks the project was broken in 10 steps.
- First Assembly - Create the blades
- Second Assembly - Gears and Motors
- Third Assembly - Base and Circuit Board
- Fourth Assembly - Adding Vertical Frame to Base
- Fifth Assembly - Rear Frame and Rotor
- Assemble all the above parts except the blades
- Add blades to above assembly
- Create body
- Add windshield to Body and combine
- Add person logo for finishing touches
For tutorials on this and any other Solidwork 3D designs, check out SolidWorks Tutorial on YouTube. Seriously, whoever made that channel is a genius at 3D design. If you ever wanted to learn this is the place to go. In future, I will add my attempts and my own originals at a later date.
