Cemetery Photos challenge
This is cemetery on mountain Tara in Serbia.
There is a lot of old tombstones. Black marble stones are usual in Serbia in last 50 years. The main reason is because it is cheaper then stones made from other materials. In Serbia, old tradition is to use stone pedestrian with basic cross shape. The cult of the dead is especially developed in the tradition of the Serbian people. On special dates that have the significance of those close to the deceased, food and drinks, sometimes even clothes, are brought to graves. Here you can see mandarins on my photo.
