Introducing wallabra (plus some of my artwork)

Hello! I am wallabra, though my real name is Gustavo. You can call me Gus.

I am an artist and game developer from Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil. At the moment I independently publish my works.

You should check out my website and portfolio. I have a lot of work to do in updating my online presence - I want to make a new website, plus I'm making a new indie gamedev cooperative (GameCircular manifesto). I'm also going to host a meetup of artists in my city, so I got a lot going on on my plate. At least that's a lot of things to talk about in future posts! :)

NOTE: This account is an alt of previous accounts I've lost access to, @wallabra and @wallabra-wallet. Thankfully, this scenario won't repeat itself, thanks to KeePassXC. What a great password manager!

• I do really like video games, after all.

  Lately, I've been really addicted to Noita. Yeah, I've been in a roguelike phase, but Noita is really addicting in general. I will make a showcase post about it soon.

  By the way, I loaded up with mods - look, I'm a fox!

  

• I occasionally make art, whether it's digital art or physical gouache painting. I'm getting better at it each time!

• I have a passing interest in photography, and love to take pictures whenever I go on my little adventures around town. I even bought a pretty crappy digital camera so I can take pictures without having my phone out all the time!

  

  

  • As someone who's interested in aesthetics, I also have a passing interest in fashion and in interesting combinations of wear, as well as general poses.
