I need consultation regarding cloud mining!

Good day friends of steemit.

I am recently thinking to go for cloud mining investment but before i do it can someone explain the pros and cons of it i have done a lot of research but still don't get where to invest as there are multiple sites that provide cloud mining.
and and..... is cloud mining a scam or legit?
