Road Side Photos

The morning commute to work is always interesting. After ten months I recognize many of the people and I know every speed bump in the road, yes there are speed bumps. Basically if you want cars to go a little slower just get you a bag of cement and build yourself a speed bump.

It's 41km each way and the morning are never boring. So many people starting out their day of school, markets and rice fields. 41km with no stop signs, red lights or any means of traffic control, just the coin man, more on that later.

It is amazing how my driver navigates this every day. Just over one hour to work and two hours home. It is also impressive how people stop to let others go by.

The scooter was a little difficult to start, she had kicked it three times.

One car crash is ten months is not bad. However this one did look bad. This was at the entry to a toll both. Looks like the driver was not paying attention!
