Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, and I’m happy to join you for Week 291. This week’s theme, Harmonious Autumn, inspired me to perform a cover of Rhythm Inside by Callum Scott.

I chose Rhythm Inside because the song speaks to that inner music we carry with us, the quiet pulse of emotion that guides our hearts even when the world grows still. Just like autumn, the song has a gentle warmth to it, soft, reflective, and honest. There’s a calm rhythm that feels like leaves falling, days slowing down, and moments becoming more meaningful.

Autumn is a season of balance and change, not sorrowful, not overly bright, just peaceful. And this song mirrors that beautifully. It reminds us that sometimes the strongest feelings are quiet ones, the ones we don’t have to shout to be understood. They simply live inside us, steady and true.

For my entry this week, I’m sharing my rendition of Rhythm Inside, aiming to express that calm harmony and emotional warmth that autumn brings. I hope you feel the softness, the reflection, and the quiet joy within the music as I did while performing it.
