Spending $HIVE on coffee thanks to Zypto
Here it is!
My first coffee paid with $HIVE using my @Zypto visa card! ☕️
It really IS that easy! Just top up the card from your Zypto wallet whenever you want to use it and that's it.
If you want to know how to send HBD to your Zypto wallet, watch this video:

Let's have fun spending (and replacing) and building parallel economies together.

That's very interesting, but if I understand correctly, the fees are also rather high, right? For example if I choose the reloadable virtual card:
Hmmm...
Is Zypto also available in Europe? I assume its also in the Americas, no?
So far, you've got 12.46 Hive in tips on this post, which should be enough for a coffee (in many parts of the world at least). Infinite coffee glitch confirmed!
Yes, it's available in The US, LatAm and Europe.
Fees will come down over time as usage increases, thereby giving us more leverage with banks and card schemes (who take the vast majority of fees). Always remember that crypto cards are convenient, but they're a stepping stone towards more direct decentralised on-chain payment options. Check out what we're doing with our latest partner in LatAm, for example: https://x.com/payabroad/status/1968106679230235045
Hm... I am sitting in the Philippines. It was easy to connect a Hive account to my Zypto crypto wallet, but I won't be able to use any of your cards then?
It is a nice way to get your product in a place where Ligthning Sats or HBD as V4V is not accepted. Parallel economy is the first steps before the complete P2P value for value mechanism.
Thank you for this tutorial.
You can see the supported countries for the cards here: https://help.zypto.com/en/articles/9630509-supported-countries-for-premium-physical-virtual-cards
You're very welcome!
Yes, this is a perfect way to get users involved with cryptocurrency. Pretty soon, merchants will be interested to and start accepting cryptocurrency directly with zero or close to zero fees.
🕺🕺🕺
That's great info!
Hey do you know why I cant access zypto app website from Canada?
@zypto doesn't seem to be available in Canada at the moment.
oh =( we are always left to be last to get into the parties xD
Sorry. Compliance is a boo boo in some countries.
p2p with HBD and $DASH are available worldwide; no KYC needed!
Yeah... I have my own ways to use Hive/HBD for personal things...but what zypto offers is something more direct
Venezuela is not on the list. Will I not be able to get a virtual card? Do they require KYC for that?
Cards do require KYC, yes. If your country is not on the restricted list, it should be fine.
