Celebrate!

After a week of training, yesterday I passed an exam and practical test at work to become an equipment operator! But that's boring and just a segue to the important part of the story... The beer I came home to drink in celebration. I took a look in the fridge and figured the most appropriate would be the one that looked like a party on the can.

This is a collaboration beer between Superflux Beer Co. and Brassneck Brewing, both hailing from Vancouver BC Canada. An 8%abv Double IPA dubbed Superfluousness. This was released for the 12th anniversary of The Alibi Room, an iconic craft beer pub in the city.

The flavours of this beer followed the nose, tangerine and pineapple. Very juicy with a grapefruit bitterness to follow. It poured a hazy orange colour with a decent amount of creamy white head. This was definitely a keeper and I may have to go grab a few more!
