It was a hot summer this afternoon and I found myself sitting outside in our house with a ripe mango in my hands. The sun was intense but I didn’t mind coz I'm enjoying that taste of the mango As I peeled the mango the juice started running down my fingers, sticky but satisfying. I took a bite and instantly, the sweetness mixed with a little tang filled my mouth. It felt refreshing like a small escape from the heat. I couldn’t help but smile as I kept eating, enjoying every messy bite. In that moment, everything felt simple and good—just me, the mango, and the warmth of summer.
