Timothy's Circumcision
According to Luke, Paul circumcised the half Greek Timothy before he took him along to prevent any possible criticism from the Torah abiding Jewish people... but... how would they have found out??? Would they have really checked Timothy's circumcision status? Then how? I must study more.

The Jews in those days very well might. But, they wouldn't need to because they could simply ask.
Since Timothy couldn't lie about it, he would have to admit that he was not. So, Paul and Timothy had to make it true for the sake of those they were trying to reach not because circumcision itself is necessary for Christian salvation.
