Cape Town R20.4 billion development

There is good news for people living in Cape Town. The City on Monday announced that it has approved building plans submitted for new building development to the value of R20.4 billion. This will be for the next 11-month, ending 31 May 2019. A total of 8760 applications have been check and approved.

Cape Town is fast becoming the city of new opportunities and a better life. Although, this brings a bright future for Cape Town and its people, it brings with it issues of planning. The city planners will need to manage urbanizing and housing its new inheritance. 

For the people of Cape Town, the new developments will bring a long-waited employment opportunities . However, the people of Cape Town have the right to object to any development they feel is unfit for development. This will then be reviewed and might even go to the high court of a decision. 

For now, it seems like Cape Town is the for runner of all cities in South Africa. The Question comes will this be sustainable for a long time. Will Other cities be able to encourage the same kind of development. If the answer is yes to both questions South Africa and its people will have a great future ahead of them.
