It is now 0644 here in my own time zone. I rescued a kitten who's mother and litter was killed and spent the last 15 or so hours feeding it, cleaning it, and ensuring that someone with more time can take care of it. It is now that I realize that lifes greatest joy often comes from existential impulsive decisions. I could have let the kitten perish and probably would have never thought twice about it. Well from the tears I was crying I probably could not have done that, but regardless, I feel my life is much richer for the experience.

Yes.. As a goth I have this facade of being the "Prince of Darkness" who has little to no remorse for the affairs of others... But I do generally have a huge soft spot for children and animals.. I
