Life hack for cannabis smokers
I dont know about you guys but I try to keep my pieces pretty clean, no one wants to smoke out of a bong thats filthy and full of res. For those of you who want to know how to clean your smoking pieces cheap and easily, keep on scrolling down.
All you need is rubbing alcohol and some cheap table salt.
Just pour some salt in your piece and then add a couple ounces of alcohol. The reason this works is because salt does NOT dissolve in alcohol, the salt acts as an abrasive.
I seal my piece off with a plastic bag and rubber bands.
Shake it for 20 seconds or so, you'll be able to tell when its clean.
Remove the rubberbands and bags then dump the alcohol/salt mixture out and rinse your piece out with warm water. You want to dissolve all the remaining salt in your piece, thats why I use warm water.
Then I'll run cold water through the bong before it gets put to use.
Looks brand new!

Nice. I just posted my own method not realizing some one had beat me to the punch. From the results you show here they both seem to work well but I think yours might be better at cleaning these bigger pieces since you do not have to find a tub to soak it in. Anyway good post. Followed and up-voted.
Add a drop of dawn dishwashing soap. The salt will scratch your glass without it.

hmmm ill have to check out your method. only other one ive heard of is to soak it in hot water or boil a bowl but then you ruin a pot.
