Success doesn’t happen overnight it takes hard work and Estee Lauder knows all about hard work. After leaving high school she helped her uncle with his business selling face creams and fragrances and eventually set up her own beauty company.

Lauder’s multi-billion dollar cosmetics empire was in fact borne out of her childhood dream to become a movie star. She knew that to be in the movies she needed to have flawless skin. Lauder did achieve her childhood dream and ended up in the limelight, just not in the way she imagined. Many movies stars wore her products and her own flawless skin gave credibility to her products.
