When Behavior Changes: Understanding Before Reacting
I didn’t notice when things started to change. School stopped being important for my daughter. Her phone became the center of everything. And when I tried to set limits, it often turned into frustration… even anger. At first, I thought it was just defiance.
But now I’m starting to wonder if there’s something deeper behind it. I’m trying to understand before reacting —
to be present, not just controlling. This isn’t easy. But I know ignoring it won’t fix anything. Have you ever dealt with something like this?https://ecency.com/@terganftp

nowadays children should be monitored closely because social media has a lot of things that can affect a child's behavior
First: Absolutely I've dealt with defiant children! Ohhhh do I have stories to tell.
Basically at 12 they were wonderful. At 14? Hmm... without going into details I can say that I gave my boss two weeks notice at work because my older son was getting into serious trouble and I was going to quit my job and take him to a remote place to keep him out of trouble.
Then I learned all children become awful when they are teenagers. The awful varies between children but teenagers put rules on the back shelf. Parents wisdom takes backstage to friends and peers which become the focus of their life. Bedtime becomes a fight. Waking up an even bigger fight. Digital limits a constant war.

Thank you so much for helping me—seriously! @terganftp. I'm still in the teenage phase, hehe... it's complicated.
With teenagers is it almost always complicated. Add in depressing, frustrating, scary, and probably expensive.
My kids are now 23 and 20. They survived being teenagers and both freely admit they made big mistakes and were "dumbasses". Still I vividly remember how dark those teenage days were. Good luck.

If you have questions on dealing with teenagers or about HIVE or well, whatever. Feel free to post in the Great Little Dragons area. I might be the only person to read it but I'd be happy to read and it would give me something to reply to. I post daily and it can be difficult to figure out what to write about.... Having a question written in a post would make my life much easier :)
And yes, I'll probably write an article on what being a "Great Little Dragon" means, what support you will receive and what obligations I'd expect. I'll tag you when the article is finished.
Esency, I need to recover my login credentials so I can access the Actifit app. As for everything else, I'm still navigating the teenage years—I have daughters aged 18 and 11—and I'm planning to create posts about that experience. I'm really interested in the subject of emotions; I believe they are, in a way, @terganftp, the force that regulates us, and I enjoy helping others.
It will take me a bit of time to write an article about how the "Great Little Dragons" work but here is a graphic I am working on to describe it (remember the community is still under construction).
And ... Why Dragons?
Lions, Bears, Wolves and such all just search for food today and never think of the future.
Dragons think long term. They want to grow strong for the long term.
But also... Dragons are both magical and physical beings. Magical (HIVE) and Physical (Real World). I want to emphasize growing investments on HIVE to get a start then move from HIVE to the Real world to build tangible investments with the end goal of having someone stronger over time.
Why "Little" Dragons? Because little dragons are cute, annoying and have a lot of room to grow :) I'm hoping to mentor new people on HIVE so they can become all they can be.
Why "Great"? Because every dragon is awesome even when they are small :)
