RANDOM.

City is a place as to what you call as 'land of opportunities' where as village is a place called as 'land to fulfill your stomach and soul'.

I know a lot of people who willingly have retired and are planning to retire in a village in their old age.

I have heard a lot of people say that access to hospitals might be a problem to the ones staying in villages. But, with ambulance services and with the use of technology it's not a serious issue today.

There are lot of things available in city life including lots of trees and fresh air(?) But still I prefer my village life.

City is good for shopping and roaming around once in a while whereas I would prefer returning to my house in my village amongst the coconut groove, to absolute silence and bliss.

But, one thing is for sure. It doesn't matter if you living in a city, town or a village. If you are a middle class or a lower middle class person then life is expectedly not easy. But, it is less miserable in a village where you can find vegetables or green leaves everywhere and can manage the kitchen without fuss unless there is drought and everything is dried up.
