Mi Foto y su Historia 4: La única que queda en la ciudad....Esp-Eng

Hola amigos por aquí traigo de nuevo una foto con su historia, porque todo tiene una historia algo que contar, nada esta por casualidad o suerte.

Hace muchos años en mi ciudad, colocaron estas caminerías, llamadas pasarelas en metal en lugares muy altas en algunos puntos céntricos de la ciudad, cuya idea en un principio era para que las personas pudieran usarlas en vez de cruzar las calles, para así evitar accidentes en las calles, avenidas.

Llegaron a instalar mas que todos en avenidas donde el tránsito de vehículos es bien fluido, que recuerde fueron: 6, de las cuales, por el gran deterioro y la falta de mantenimiento de las mismas, las fueron eliminando poco a poco.

Que además tampoco fueron usadas por las personas hasta donde yo sé, tampoco las use, porque creemos, que teniendo cuidado, cautela, si caminamos por debajo llegamos más rápido al otro lado de la vía.

La que penúltima que quitaron era la que estaba en el sector Marhuanta, ya representaba un peligro, porque ya había partes que se habían caído.

Y la de mis fotos es la ultima que queda, esta frente al Hospital Ruiz y Páez, en la avenida Germania.

Many years ago in my city, they installed these walkways—called metal footbridges—at very high elevations in some central parts of the city. The original idea was for people to use them instead of crossing the streets, thereby preventing accidents on the streets and avenues.

They ended up installing more of them on avenues where traffic flows very smoothly; as far as I recall, there were six of them. However, due to their severe deterioration and lack of maintenance, they were gradually removed.

Furthermore, as far as I know, people didn’t use them either—I didn’t use them either—because we believe that, if we’re careful and cautious, walking underneath them gets us to the other side of the street faster.

The second-to-last one they removed was the one in the Marhuanta area; it was already a hazard because parts of it had fallen off.

And the one in my photos is the last one remaining; it’s across from the Ruiz y Páez Hospital on Germania Avenue.
