Stepping up

Today, the day I have been waiting for. CPU upgrade day! For those who do not know what a CPU is, it stands for Central Processing Unit. Basically, it's the brains and neurological end of the computer. They come in a variety of socket types, core counts and clock speeds.

I literally installed this 10 minutes ago. I installed, an i7-4770k processor! This chip is clocked at 3.9 GHz currently, but will be overclocked higher soon. It has tons of cache, and super fast speeds thanks to hyper threading which gives you 8 logical processors. (2 threads per core)It is also unlocked, which means you can tune the power and speed going through it.

I am very excited to test this chip streaming and rendering now so a new video should be up very soon!
