Pressure in case of a gas as solute temperature. In most cases the solubility of a solid increases with increase in Materials N Beaker (250cm), Bunsen burner, iron stand, tripod stand, wire gauze, glass rod, Required safety goggles, sucrose (sugar) and water.
Procedure Tripod Stand Bunsen Burner o Add about 50cm distilled water in the beaker. Start adding sugar crystals little by little while stirring the solution with glass rod. When sugar crystals start settling down at the bottom ofthe beaker, stop addingsugar. 3 Heat the beaker on a Bunsen burner as shown in the figure. After heating for a few minutes the settled crystals of sugar will also dissolve. S Now add more sugar crystals and heat the solution again, this will also dissolve.
