Destiny's Door ~ Original Work

When we move in the world it is easy to get caught up in our own heads. Checking off the to do list and yet again accomplishing another day. This constant forward drive may lead us to miss connections and stories that reflect more about our true nature. Today I was able to connect with a patient of mine who shared his life story with me. His story reflected a struggle I’ve been facing in my own life… the fear of moving away from what is familiar to find the truth of what lies within. On the drive home these words came to me. I hope to eventually make these words into a song. Any other Steemit artists with ideas for this feel free to comment.

Living a life in shambles
Destinies door but a time bomb
Leading to graves filled by sex & drugs
In human pleasures left unmet
