Off to the gym!
I want abs like my best friend Hana. She let me post this photo so long as I didn't show her face. She doesn't want to show off, but I wanted to show her off!
So I signed up at my local gym this morning and thought I would track my progress through steemit, I would love words of encouragement :)
I'm focusing on just eating healthier, cardio and abs excersizes
Would love to hear everyone's advice on how to great great abs. So join me everyone, lets all get some Hana abs!

I am glad to see you take this direction. I did a steem post on this just recently and wanted to share it with you. You can read the post on my profile but here is a quick snapshot.
We all know that exercise is important for the well-being of the body. Yet, many of us (including myself) don't allocate proper time for it in our hectic lives everyday. We need to have the right motivation and develop a system. Here are some tips that work for me (& hopefully helps some of you).
Dedicate a certain block of time for exercise/gym depending upon your schedule. Let's say that is about 2 hours. Do your best to get even 15 minutes of actual exercise time in that block of time. The more you do it, the more your body starts 'expecting' it at that time, and before you know it, exercising will become a part of your daily routine.
Drink plenty of water before the workout. Also, remember to stretch pre- and post-exercise to warm up and cool down your body.
Keep a log of your exercise times. You will be surprised how much time and burnt calories you stack up. It will also give you a sense of achievement.

One day at a time, find value in something to keep you intrinsically motivated. Challenge yourself accordingly. Remember being healthier and in better shape is not a punishment or something to just sweep under the rug. You own your body so be nice to it.
