I went to a comedy show tonight.
They called people “retard”.
They talked about “Asians” spreading the virus.
The event joked about the white folk supporting Trump.
They used the words “fag”, “dyke” and other “derogatory” terms.
And, you know what? It was all fucking hilarious.
They all lean towards the left. And, you know what? They all think US Democrat’s have taken it way too fucking far.
I agree.
Stop being those “snowflakes”. Every comment is not meant to insult or degrade.
We’re all people. We make mistakes. We have feelings. We all have prejudices. That is being human.
We’re not perfect. We never will be, but, we can keep trying.
That’s reality. It’s not racism. It may be prejudice, but, we’re all human.
Shit takes time.
Be patient. It’ll come. Don’t give them a reason to call you “snowflake”.
Fuck that.

I miss the old days, old tv series, the black humor... These days people feel insulted about everything. I learned it is good to have a good laugh about yourself, misery, religion, other races, the pope, etc, etc. It's no longer allowed. Even a handshake is insulting but I do not like to be kissed by everyone instead of.. (Not that I like a sweaty handshake).
Soon we forget to laugh, we no longer know what "ironic" or "a joke" or black humor means. Rowan Atkinson spoke about it, fought for that right...
If you feel easily insulted it's better to have a closer look at yourself.

Very poetic. The context of the situation is what throws people off. Different cultures and ages have different ideas of what is appropriate. I probably wouldn't call my grandma a dumb cunt while we're having Christmas dinner, but at a comedy show it may be fair game. (Not that you are a dumb cunt grandma, I love you)

Probably that is why @clixmoney muted/ignored me in the @dcooperation community. Because I wrote my honest opinion in the comments, and not the usual "nice post" crap.
No, not "a bit brutal", but selfish and greedy. And dishonest too.
There is a thing on the Steem blockchain, called "false/fake positivity". The majority of the people are not honest here. They write comments, which may look positive, but they are not. Many people are writing these (often bot-like and spam-like) comments to get attention to their own posts.

What do you expect from Steemit, brother. 99% of the people here, perhaps 100, are here for money. So they won't be honest. Because virtues like honesty in the world are almost gone.
I would expect people to at least use the platform naturally. But they are not doing that. They just/only doom the platform by their own self-centered behavior. People are not grown up to this platform.
