2000 dollar mistake
I went from having 2000 today in less than 2 months. I have over thousand steem power. For what? Till it becomes close to 0?. Just decreasing and decreasing. Reading fake articles of how we should keep on and not power down. Fu** this sh**. I am powering down and so should you. Something which starts so high, goes down so fast, and someone on the top gets rich, including celebrities and whales MEANS ponzi.... PERIOD. Stop believing what you read on this forum, its all just BS finish.

Look at the chart of bitcoin 2013 til 2015... and then compare to steem
Who's fault is it that people bid it up to 10 times its current value? Did anyone make you invest? (also sell high, buy low is a pretty cool idea lol). I recently bought a ton and have no problem buying more and holding.
Also if this is a Ponzi scheme then everything is. US monetary supply.. any stocks.. etc.
So what? Will 1 steem be worth 600 usd? I am glad steem will be worth 1 usd again, if it happends
Agreed. And also this is still in Beta. People who think it won't break $1 billion sometime in the next couple of years are in for a surprise. It tried already but was premature. Needs to get out of beta and needs 100,000 active users instead of 10,000. It'll get there.
Hey! Thanx for reading my negative post! Offcourse I will never power down! But yeah i would be lying if i said that i dont feel like what i wrote in the post. So i need you Steemians to convince me and give me back that feeling that "Steem is the right way"!
If you haven't already, check out SteemStats.com and type in your username and then I think it's "accounts" and "steem power". It'll show you (give it a few minutes to get a good average) how much interest you're earning per day. If you take that.. let's say it shows 0.5% per day.. to see how much Steem Power you'll have in a year: Current Steem Power (times) ((1+daily %) to the 365 power). It's pretty compelling. I think since most people don't have their Steem in Steem Power, those who do are getting a huge interest payment right now. I'm taking advantage of that. Yes it is a risk.. everything is.

Everyone is entitled to share their open opinion, why not jump over to FaceBook and see how your rights to open speech go there and then compare that experience to how you are not censored on Steemit.
This is an entirely new idea toward a Social Media platform, social media BTW is the fastest growing segment of the internet by most age group demographics but for some reason you cannot see something positive and potentially profitable with Steemit in the future ? ? ?

Almost nothing has a steady climb upward. The reality is Steem started out too high and now has probably overshot in the down direction. If it goes lower, I'll watch stuff on the site and probably buy more.
The reality is 95% of new businesses go bust and fail, but sometimes you just gotta bet on something . . .
Personally I would prefer to bet on Steemit rather than on cards or horse races or the traditional insider trading ponzi scheme ways that rich people manipulate for their own profits.
I think you can guess which institution located in the North East I am referring to . . .
I myself never bought into the ' shares market ' now Steemit has given me a shares portfolio for free, and while I do not have the actual figures i think it would be a close balance to see how much new USA banknotes are minted everyday and compare those printings to how much new Steem the 'miners' create every day : )
But, regardless ; now I have my own tiny little cryptocurrency shares portfolio and I have even turns some of that Steem into Fiat currency to prove it was real ; )
I say give it time and pray it turns around at some point, for now enjoy and get as much as possible... just incase.

This better bloody work ..... I am planning on using it to fund my bad habits when I retire in a couple of years time {grin} .... hence I just power up all the time... but still very little in the coffers {sulk}..
I did not say look st the price :-)... look at the shape of the peak and compare to steem. Price is not important as such
