Hi, this is @gerel, i am a minnow on steemit but "whale" inside and i am speaking in the words of @steemsecrets.
Hahaha, so, what do you think is the first thought that should "ring in the brain" upon landing on steemit?
"There was life before steemit". Yes o!
This starts the entire steemit journey aright and instantly speeds your journey up. How so?
First things first, speaking of financial rewards; if you weren't on steemit today, will you not still eat? "Oh you will!"
Now, if you just found steemit today, should that all suddenly instantly change?
And if it does, where is the "YOU" that existed moments before "steemit"?
So, speaking of "YOU"; what were you doing just before you found steemit? Where you doing research? Where you planning to take over the world? Where in school trying to pass your exams? Where you trying to build a brand? Where you simply wanting to own a blog or create vlogs?
Hahaha, or where you try to create a new breed of Fashion e.g ankara mixed with Gucci and brocade?
Now, did all these dreams, aspirations, goals, desires etc instantly die upon getting on steemit because you found you found blogs with money on them?
Then; if all these died, where was the "YOU", that existed before steemit?
Bring that old "YOU" on steemit and shake the steem blockchain with your beauty. Yes, all those buried dreams, those wishes, that enterprise, that vision, those school work and projects, that creativity, that attempt at out-of-the-boxness etc; bring it all on steemit and shake the steem blockchain with a piece of awesome "YOU".
And what if you don't earn money today?
"No loss", because you were able to shine still and you know what? "There was life before steemit".
In truth, if you apply the above; "opportunities" and even money will seek you out and find you and if not today; "tomorrow!"

There was life before steemit.. Why bother on posting and blogging those contents? Why? Because for me steemit helps me find myself worth.. Steemit awaken my whole being as human. Through steemit I can open up my mind and shout out the things that makes me who am I today. Yes, steemit makes us feel our worth and every post that we have is a great priviledge to showcase our individuality and interests in life. As for me, everything that i post is for self fulfillment. Instead of keeping it to myself, i better share it here for others to realize the same thing that im feeling.. we have to go out of our shells and think not outside the box but think as if there is no box. :)

Hi @gerel, thank you for this reminder. Steemit can be overwhelming and it requires a lot of time. We follow people we admire and there's a tendency to imitate how they work in Steemit. And because of these we might forget who we are.
Personally, I have felt that maybe I should be like someone else so I can be successful here. But then I realized that each one of us has something to offer and this shines in the #untalented movement that showcases being our ownselves, and not being someone else. Instead of losing ourselves, we should be more our true selves. And bring to life the dreams we may have forgotten. Thanks again for your message @gerel and @steemsecrets! :)

I called it fantastic four. I noticed that these fantastic four woman really impacted steemit through their message. @gerel you are correct, we just need to be "Real You". We can cheat other people but we cannot cheat ourselves. By all means, we should be real, because fake things won't last, even if we apply it in material things, fake shoes won't last compare to original shoes. Same with us humans, we need to be real so that we can last.

This is wonderful! Yes, there was a life before Steemit. Before, I used to spend all of my free time on social media sites. None of those really made me fulfilled. I have always wanted to create a blogsite of my own where I could share all of my stories, travels and adventures but it's a bit hard for me to establish my own. I didnt want to do it on other social media sites because people might find me OA. 🤣 Then came steemit, here, I am free to share my stories, my travels and adventures, and on top of these, I gain the nicest connections/followers who patiently reads all of my blogs. Truth is, STEEMIT gave life to my ambitions. I hope everyone else could bring back their old selves here in Steemit and surely, opportunities will come seek them. ❤

Let my words not be true to all but may be true to some. Before knowing steemits we keep on posting any different blogs, articles, and events on different social media. In those accounts or platforms we are not paid but it wasn't even a matter. That was "US" before. "US who just aim to spread information and information without something in return.
I firmly believe that even you are not yet earning a lot here, you have the opportunity to shine already. That's already great. In addition, your posts (blog, photographs, writings, articles and the likes) are being kept in blockchain. Furthermore, in my own experience I have been praying for a platform where I can share my poems and articles that can keep all the information especially my name as the writer and then I found steemit.
Honestly speaking, setting modesty aside, I registered without knowing the concepts of SBD and cryptocurrency. How will I be paid? What's the process? That time I still don't know.
May all of us be "US" or let's have the "YOU" in ourselves like "YOU" before.

I used to love and write poems and short stories.
But when the only person that used to read them and encouraged me not to stop died (my dad), I stopped writing. That was 2002. Of resent, I joined this great community and it has showed me I can write again... That old joy and satisfaction I used to have when I finish one piece of writing is back... So for me, instead of 'lossing myself' here, I think steemit had helped me 'find and bring back' the happy old me that lived writing and for that am grateful.... I pray it remains that way... I really do.... Cus who wouldn't be lost in a wonderful place like this..

INFORMING THE MASSES - A short list of some of the abuses against @Noganoo by Satanic whales on Steemit.
For those of you who are unaware @Noganoo was sexually abused when he was 5 years old. Bernie Sanders learned this from Fyrstikken whom Noganoo trusted and confided in and then was betrayed and slandered by Fyrstikken whom Noganoo brought to Steemit. Noganoo only requested that Fyrstikken send back the 10 Bitcoins he stole from SatoshiHorizon through his “altcoin investment fund.” Noganoo stood up against Bernie's flag abuse towards SeaBlue which caused the war that you are seeing today. Bernie swore to destroy Noganoo because Noganoo defended the helpless minnows on Steemit. Below are just a few of the terrible insults they have spoken against this Christian man. Please visit @Noganoo's blog and support and encourage him through these demonic attacks as his old friends have forsaken him. Not only do these people verbally attack Noganoo but they antagonize him until he responds in anger, then they sent the FBI to his house for "threatening." Noganoo has requested to all of the whales on steemit directly for them to speak to these 2 fraudsters and tell them to stop. Not a word was said in one year and now he is resorting to further action. The abuse will stop. If you have any information as to the identity or whereabouts of BernieSanders or Pfunk please contact [email protected]. There is a substantial reward and you can remain anonymous. Noganoo is unable to file a restraining order against these 2 until he finds their identity. BernieSanders is a pedophile and should not be rewarded with upvotes on Steemit.
First of all let's go back to before this all started. Noganoo was investigating the fraud and theft of 10s of millions of dollars of rewards by Donkeypong, Gavvet, HanshotFirst, Kevinwong, The-Alien, JrCornel, Sweetsssj and Knozaki2015 with their organization called "SteemGuild" where they used the Steemit Co-founder Ned's account to vote for themselves instead of the "minnows" they claimed to be supporting. Go look at all of their current account values and you can see that over 1 year ago Noganoo was right! They paid themselves multi-millions for only a couple months of curating on Steemit. Something the rest of us do for free. You can see that these people and their friends are the only people who have ever attacked Noganoo. They are trying to cover up their theft. If you go back on the blockchain you can see Noganoo's accounts previously supported most of these offers with his thousand bot voters early on in the platforms launch. https://steemd.com/@sweet-banana?page=17 Then Noganoo called out The-Alien for his common use of the word "Motherfucker" in his fiction stories that were upvoted by their "Steemguild" to number one on trending every day to "raise money for the guild." Fact is they stole millions of dollars. This rebuke prevented Noganoo from ever getting an upvote from that guild which controlled over 30% of the voting power on Steemit at the time.

Here is Pfunk 2 years ago violently attacking an article Noganoo wrote about Christianity, Pfunk at the time had no idea Noganoo wrote this! Pfunk is a hater of true Christians but aligns himself with the fake Christians so he can get more witness votes and doesn't lose support. Pfunk proceeded to individually message everyone that upvoted Noganoo and slander him and threaten them with loss of support if they continue to upvote his articles. Pfunk, Berniesanders and Ausbitbank costed Noganoo over 50,000 dollars in losses last year. Ausbitbank attacked Noganoo to impress his witness friends when Noganoo is the one who brought him to Steemit. He brought Noganoo’s reputation from 68 down to zero with stolen Steempower provided by JamesC

Done following @gerel sir. She has a point on her post. We should think who we are before steemit. And what should be our doing. But now we realize and appreciate the big help of steemit to us. But whatever it is we always need to be who WE are. And stay what we are before and after steemit.
