So we coloured the bronze! You do this with a sulpha patina, it reacts with the bronze to darken it. Heres a little sample on the dragons head

So after the previous posts, we put the big thing outside so we can colour it. Here it is in all its glory, all cleaned up waiting for colour and the flame to be added

So after the bronze is all welded up, we have to clean it, using a sand blaster, we remove all the muck and burn marks from the welding, it helps us see anything we have misses and can fix any holes…

The dragon

The dragon being worked in bronze. Putting it all together to complete the beast its self, my boss on the right, and the welder on the left, these 2 men have a combind age of almost 160years old!
