오늘 내가 저승사자를 만난다면.

언젠가, 무척이나 힘이 들던 그 시절에. 나와는 전혀 관계 없는 어떤 것에 관한 생각을 한 적 있다. 저승사자는 어쩌면 자신의 생을 스스로 마감한, 그러니까 자살한 사람이 받는 벌이 아닐까. 수 많은 생을 거두며 생의 소중함을 깨우치라는 그런 벌 말이다. 차라리 죽어버렸으면 좋겠어. 라고 했던 그 순간에도 내 휴대폰 어느 깊은 곳에는 나를 위해 짖어주었던…
